A photo gift that feels personal, not last-minute
Choose a photograph with a story, match the print to the person and plan the details that make a birthday or holiday photo gift feel thoughtful.

A thoughtful photo gift begins with recognition: that was our trip, that is their favourite place, that is the person they love. The photograph does not need to be technically extraordinary to carry that feeling. It needs to mean something to the person receiving it.
For birthdays, holidays or a quiet thank-you, a little planning makes the difference between printing a random picture and giving something personal.
Choose the story before the product
Think about a shared memory, a place the recipient misses or a small moment they may not have photographed themselves. A grandparent may value a relaxed picture of a child more than a formal portrait. A friend who loves a particular trail might enjoy the view from a walk you took together.
Ask yourself whether the image feels right for their home and whether they would be comfortable displaying it. A photograph that makes everyone laugh in a group message is not always the one someone wants on the wall. When in doubt, choose a kind, familiar moment.
Match the gift to their space
Photo Prints are flexible: a few favourites for an album, a desk frame or a small collection with handwritten notes. Frames and albums are not included, so allow time to choose those separately if they are part of your gift.
A Canvas Print is a more substantial wall piece and arrives stretched. Check that the recipient has a suitable place for it. If you can, measure the intended space and consider the colours already in the room. A large surprise is harder to place than a small one.
For someone who enjoys photography, art or a carefully chosen frame, Hahnemühle Bamboo Fine Art Prints offer a textured matte paper. Think about the presentation as a whole: image, print size, mount and frame.
Build a small set around one idea
Three related photographs can tell a story without competing for attention. Try a view of a place, a portrait from the visit and a close-up detail. Keep the editing reasonably consistent so one highly saturated photograph does not overwhelm the others.
For several recipients, start with the same favourite and adjust the quantity. If you want different sizes or crops, use Duplicate in the editor to create separate print versions. Check each version in Preview before adding the gallery’s prints to your cart.
Leave time for the details
Find the original file instead of relying on a saved message preview. Confirm the size and crop, then look for a Resolution warning. A smaller sharp print can be a better gift than an oversized one made from a very small image.
Review the current production and shipping information before ordering, especially around busy holidays. We work to meet the stated timeframes, but delays can happen. If we cannot meet the promised dispatch timeframe, we will contact you to discuss options. Do not assume a last-minute order is guaranteed to arrive for a particular date; ask us first if timing matters.
We sell and ship to Canadian addresses only. Paper prints up to 8 × 10 are sent flat in rigid cardboard envelopes; larger paper prints are rolled in tubes. Fine art and large rolled prints are protected with glassine. Canvas prints are shipped stretched and packaged to protect them. Allow for careful unpacking and any framing before you give the gift.
Make something they will recognise at a glance.
Start with Photo Prints for a small, personal gift, or explore Canvas Prints for a favourite that belongs on the wall. Add a note about why you chose the photograph—that is often the most memorable part.
